Video Game and Film Soundtracks
Ever since my first full-length piano composition at age 14 won 1st place at the PA Federation of Music Clubs Junior Piano Composition competition, I composed music. When I could finally afford access to high quality mics and software after college, I began creating music professionally and found a reliable space in video game and film composition. I still compose everything I write on piano first to ensure original melodies that capture the exact emotions, visual AND story of what I need to create, and then I bring my work to Finale, Studio One, Native Instruments, and my high-quality Shure and CharterOak mics to bring my compositions to full symphonic life.
I was first inspired to write music by Yoko Shimomura's soundtrack in Kingdom Hearts. I have since been inspired by many artists, including:
Nobuo Uematsu (Final Fantasy), Keiichi Okabe (Nier: Automata), Toby Fox (Undertale), Zektbach (DDR), Koji Kondo (Zelda)
Rachmaninoff, Chopin, Debussy, Saint-Saens
Dream Theater, Symphony X, Sufjan, Muse, and many more
